Dandelion Jelly

Ingredients

  • 1 quart dandelion blossoms- no stems
  • 1 quart water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 package Sure-Jell pectin
  • 4 1/2 cups sugar

Directions

Wash dandelion blossoms well, take one quart water and 1 quart blossoms and boil for 3 minutes. Strain. For 3 cups of juice use 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 package Sure-Jell and 4 1/2 cups sugar. Boil 3 minutes and pour into glasses and seal with melted wax.
